How long have you been in business?

Olde World Movers has been in the moving business for over 30 years. The company was established in 1988 with a single truck. We started serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1991 growing it into a full-service moving company with several full-time movers, three locations, and a fleet of our own moving trucks.

How much do you charge?

There’s a few factors that determine the cost of our moving services. This includes: – Number of movers needed – Number of trucks needed – Packing and loading time – Quantity and types of supplies used Mainly, it comes down to the size of your move. The bigger your move (size of your home or office or the amount of items you have) the more expensive it will be. Rest assured, we offer competitive rates with no hidden fees. You can also choose to have a comprehensive moving package or customize your own to fit your needs and budget.

I have used this Olde World Movers for 2 different moves in the last two months. I had a large move last month and the movers were professional, courteous, and took extremely good care of all of our belongings. They move pianos also! It was actually a pleasant experience considering it was a two day move, because we had to be out before closing on the home we sold. They showed up the next morning to move out our belongings to our new home and were just as wonderful.
This month my daughter had to move from her apartment and her movers were on time, courteous, put everything back together, removed all wrapping materials, and were super efficient. This was a sensitive situation and they were clear to let me know that they had read their notes and understood and would handle everything. I can’t say enough good things about these gentlemen. The quote was what we paid this time as well. I am so thankful I found this company! Everyone I have dealt with at this company has been very understanding and helpful.

Olde World have done our household move several years ago. Called and asked if they could help with a large heavy piece of furniture we purchased from an estate sale. They scheduled us with Matt and Victor. They did an incredible job wrapping and securing the piece. Placed it and re-assembled it at our house all in a relatively short amount of time. Nathan, Jamal, Elaine, and Jared were very professional and took care while packing all of my antiques and fragile items. They made me feel my belongings were in good hands. Ramon, Nate, Steve and Dean were also exceptional in that they took care to wrap all the my furniture to be secure for the move into storage while we remodel our home. Everyone has years of experience in moving and it showed. I will definitely be requesting the same crew once our remodeling is done.

I did not hire these guys but they showed up at the same time as my loaders at my storage unit. They had 2 trucks the same size as my rental truck. Both trucks were loaded and gone before my loaders showed up an hour and 50 minutes late. My loaders (same number as olde world for 2 trucks) took over 5 hours to load my truck. Hind sight sucks!
