My husband and I had a great experience with Olde World Movers. We hired a team of 3 movers to help us load 2 moving containers (U-Pack Relocubes) from our 2-bedroom apartment. We paid hourly for their services, plus a travel fee, at rates that I found pretty reasonable for the area after receiving many quotes. We boxed up and wrapped all the furniture on our own so we did not use their services for that purpose.Our entire experience with this company was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. When I initially called and booked, I experienced the typical back and forth via email and they scheduled a Facetime video tour to give them an idea of how much stuff we were intending to move. The representative who we booked with, Sheila, was friendly, patient, and thorough in answering all of our questions. When she sensed I was hesitant about anything, she often offered to ask her manager to see if there was anything else they could do to help us out or to reassure us. After speaking to so many other reps at national and local moving companies, we ultimately decided to go with Olde World because of Sheila’s professionalism and friendliness.When it got closer to our moving day, we received a confirmation call about a day or two before our scheduled move, confirming our booking details. The individual I spoke to was also friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and reviewed what we should expect on move day. On the actual move day, they called to let us know when they were on their way and arrived on time. They did not start the clock on their services until they were literally ready to walk up to our unit to begin the work of loading. The team was super professional and exceptionally fast and efficient. They worked at rapid speed, without taking any noticeable breaks (albeit we support workers and believe they should take reasonable breaks if needed). They completed the job way faster than we expected, which is great when you are paying hourly rates for their services. Although we boxed and wrapped our own items, they appeared to be super careful when moving larger furniture pieces around tight corners. They often stopped to readjust the moving blankets on some of the furniture that we had prepared less thoroughly, and added additional moving blankets when they thought necessary to get around tight doorframes. We had also marked some boxes fragile or heavy and they were careful to follow those directions while Tetris-ing our items into the Relocubes. (My husband did participate in organizing some of the boxes because we were very particular about how we wanted it done, but they were professional about working with him on that.) The Relocubes were packed to the absolute max and they did a great job ensuring the space was maximized, often unloading a few items and re-loading them to ensure it all fit and was strapped in properly.Once the work was completed, they confirmed the duration of the work they were going to charge me for and had me sign the paperwork—it was a very straightforward process at the end! Overall, we would not hesitate to book them again or refer our friends and family to them! Thank you to Sheila and our moving team!

We have moved too many times to count, and this was our first time hiring professional movers. We will never go back!!! Zechariah, Markquist, and Nathaniel were fast, efficient, careful, and kind. They were fun to have around for the day, and wasted no time. We moved our entire 1900sqft, 4 bedroom house 45miles down the road in just 6 hours. They wrapped everything with care and placed all of our furniture in the correct room and the correct place at the new house for easy set up. We are incredibly grateful for all of their hard work! This is our fourth move with Olde World Movers and we keep coming back for a reason. They are WONDERFUL!!! The crew is always on time, they are so kind, professional and respectful! They take good care of your items and do an excellent job. They don’t overcharge and if the actual time to complete the work comes in less than the agreed quote they will only charge for the work they did, instead of charging the full amount agreed to in the quote. Not all places will do that once you agree and “lock in” a price. I recommend Olde World Movers to EVERYONE that needs to move. They are worth every penny!
